Three people were injured following a two-car crash in Alexander County on Friday.

It happened on Route 3 just North of Jaco City Road.

According to Illinois State Police, 32 year old Cody Seigart, was traveling north when he crossed the center line and crashed head on into a vehicle being driven by 26 year old Tyre Moore.

Seigart was partially ejected from the vehicle, and taken by ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries.

A minor passenger in Seigart’s car was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Moore received minor injuries in the crash.
