As you hit the roads this Monday morning, a weekend death in a construction zone is a sobering reminder for drivers of the caution needed.

Neil D. Hendrick, 36, of Fairfield was trying to get around vehicles stopped by a road construction crew when he wound up backing into a construction worker and hitting a backhoe.

Hendrick was killed in the Friday evening crash on Route 242 in Hamilton County. Two road construction workers were injured.
