SALINE CO- A judge has denied bail reduction for the Harrisburg physician charged with murdering his wife.

The attorney for Brian Burns sought to reduce his $1 million cash bail to $50,000.

Reports state that the judge refused it, following a testimony from state police stating that Burns is too much of a flight risk.

Burns is currently at the Saline County Jail.

Burns previously waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

His final pretrial is set for June 24.
