FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A woman has pleaded guilty in connection to a death investigation in Fairfield.
37 year old Aydreian Hooper pleaded guilty to a child endangerment charge on December 12th. The charges come after an investigation where police say 2 children were left in a vehicle for multiple hours on the evening of July 14th, 2024. A 1-year old died and a 2-year old was severely injured.
Hooper originally faced charges of Involuntary Manslaughter, Endangering the Life of a Child – Death, Reckless Conduct and Endangering the Life of a Child.
Hooper was released with a GPS monitoring device and a sentence hearing has been scheduled for February 27th.
