CARBONDALE, Ill. – The SIU Men’s Golf program announced the signing of transfer Ben Keil Friday.

“We are so thrilled to welcome Ben Keil to the Saluki family,” Head Coach Justin Fetcho said. “Ben just started taking competitive golf serious in high school and has gotten better every single year.”

The La Grange, Ind. native joins the Salukis as a transfer from the University of Indianapolis. His 2024 achievements included a win at the SVSU Invitational where he shot rounds of 66 and 68. He tallied five top 25 finishes and tied for seventh at the GLVC championship.

“We know his best golf is still in front of him and we look forward to watching him to continue to grow in a Saluki uniform,” Fetcho said.

Keil ranked as the 136th-best DII golfer as a freshman, and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
