CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – SIU’s Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corps detachment will install a new commander Friday.

Lieutenant Colonel Chay Derbigny will take over command during a ceremony on campus.  It starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Alumni Plaza.  The public is invited to attend.

Derbigny, who was born in Murphysboro then raised in the Chicago suburbs, takes over command from Lieutenant Colonel Jessica Dwyer who is heading to Washington, D.C. to work at the Pentagon.
