Thursday morning, River Radio Sports learned Herrin High School is in search of a new varsity football coach. Taylor Perry has turned in his resignation.
The resignation will become official on Tuesday, April 30 at the Herrin Unit 4 board meeting.
Perry was head coach of the Tigers for three seasons after taking the job in June of 2021. He was 8-19 as Herrin’s coach. The Tigers went 3-6 this past season.
Perry took over after a season under Rod Sherrill during the COVID Spring Season.
