A new director has been announced for the General John A. Logan Museum.
Laura Varner has been appointed as its new director after more than 20 years of dedicated experience to the position.
Varner began working at the museum in 2003 and became the museum’s collections manager and curator full-time in 2020.
The museum’s future includes a fundraising campaign to add a new wing with 2,800 square feet of open exhibit space, a commercial kitchen, and a research-reading room.
