MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – A vehicle stolen from Louisville, Kentucky has been recovered in southern Illinois.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies pulled over the silver Nissan in Marion on February 24 for not having valid registration.
They say the driver, Joshua Biegel, had three outstanding warrants from three separate states: Kentucky (parole violation), Indiana (probation violation), and Idaho (forgery). He’s now facing new charges including theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.
The passenger, Graceevelyn Biegel, had an outstanding warrant from Kentucky. At the time of the traffic stop, Graceevelyn Biegel was also holding methamphetamine. She’s been charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession drug paraphernalia.
