JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – Illinois State Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash on I-57. 

The crash involving two passenger vehicles and a semi happened at mile marker 84 in Jefferson County. At least one of the vehicles caught fire and three people were transported with minor injuries.   

All northbound lanes opened around 1:30pm yesterday and one southbound lane opened a while later.
