Monday saw the first Saluki men’s basketball player to hit the NCAA transfer portal.  Junior guard Dalton Banks has entered his name in to the portal, according to the twitter account Verbal Commits.  Verbal Commits has become a trusted account that reports on players that have been offered scholarships, committed to schools, and who have put their name into the NCAA transfer portal.

Banks averaged 3.9 points, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 rebounds off the bench this past season.  The Eau Claire, Wisconsin native’s best statistical season came in his freshman year, the 2020-21 season, when he averaged 6.2 points, 2.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game off the bench.
