The Illinois State Fair and DuQuoin State Fairs are hiring seasonal workers.  The temporary jobs are paying $14 an hour and are an important part of state fair operations.  Most jobs run during the fairs but a few will begin earlier.

The state fair in Springfield will run from August 11th-21st and the DuQuoin State Fair will run from August 26th-September 5th.
