An altercation on Thursday night at a Lone Oak Road apartment in Paducah, led to a man being shot.

After several reports of hearing shots, Paducah police responded just after 9 p.m.

Officers learned 27 year old Christopher Hill of Paducah had been taken to Baptist Health with a gunshot wound. He died a short time later.

Detectives are searching for a suspect and following up on leads in the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Paducah Police department at (270) 444-8550.
