
CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A northern Illinois man was arrested on gun charges following a domestic disturbance Friday in Carbondale.
When police arrived at the home in the 600 block of South James Street at about 4:50 p.m., they were told Ernest Bobo, 45, of Elgin had pulled a handgun during an argument and later driven away. Police pulled him over a short time later. They found the handgun inside the vehicle.
Ernest Bobo was taken to the Jackson County Jail on charges of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and operating an uninsured vehicle without a driver’s license.
