CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Marion man was arrested in Carbondale on a weapons charge.

Carbondale Police say Bobby Barnes, 24, fired several shots Wednesday morning in the 900 block of East Walnut. No injuries or property damage was reported.

Barnes was  was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
