
CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — A Carbondale man has been arrested in connection to a recent incident of shots fired in Carbondale.
On November 16, shots were fired towards a group of people who were gathered in the 400 block of East Chestnut Street. No one was hurt, but a vehicle was damaged.
On Monday, November 29, Carbondale Police arrested Matthew Hamilton, 29, on charges of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon and Aggravated Discharge of a Weapon. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
