CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — A Missouri man was recently arrested after a home invasion and battery in Carbondale.

Carbondale Police say they were called at about 11:10 a.m. Saturday after someone forced their way into a residence in the 1900 block of South Illinois Avenue and physically attacked the person inside. That person received a minor injury as a result.

 Zayivion Lewis, 20, of Mexico, Missouri arrested and charged with home invasion. He was later released on a recognizance bond.
