CHRISTOPHER, Ill. (WJPF) — The death of the three-year-old child is being investigated in Christopher.

Police say the death happened Tuesday, November 16. The child was initially driven by private vehicle to St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro, then flown to a St. Louis hospital where they later died.

The investigation is ongoing.
