The Pinckenyville Panthers volleyball team are the latest program to suspend activities this week.

Panthers athletic director Bob Waggoner announced Thursday morning that the team is “hitting the pause button due to quarantine” and will be out of action until Wednesday September 15th.  During that time frame, the Panthers have three matches scheduled and will also miss the Mascoutah Tournament on Saturday September 11th now.

The Panthers are 3-3 on the season so far in the first year of head coach Katie Shaneyfelt’s second stint after Centralia collected a sweep in the season opener and the Panthers went 3-2 at the SIRR Conference Preview this past Saturday.
