JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — A Mt. Vernon man has been sentenced to 142 years in prison on sexual abuse and child pornography charges.

Michael Wheeler, 49, pleaded guilty to five counts of Producing Child Pornography and two counts of Aggravated Sexual Abuse; prosecutors say the victim was under thirteen years old.
