WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — Williamson County State’s Attorney Brandon Zanotti is one of three people that have been recommended to be the next U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois.

Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth released a list Wednesday of individuals they are recommending to the Biden Administration for two U.S. Attorney positions and three U.S. Marshal positions.

In addition to Zanotti, the senators also recommended former Madison County Judge Ann Callis and State Senator Rachell Crowe for the U.S. Attorney job.
