PERRY COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — One person was hurt in a two vehicle crash in Perry County.

It happened at about 9:30 a.m. Monday on Route 13 near Plum Road.

Illinois State Police say Jake Basler, 30, of Jonesboro was driving a tractor-trailer southbound on Route 13 when he crossed the centerline and hit another vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle, Edward Kampelman, 30, of Chesterfield, Missouri, was taken to a local hospital. Basler was not hurt.

Basler was cited for Improper Lane Usage.
