The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association announced their 2021 1A and 2A All-State Teams Monday morning.  Several area athletes were recognized for their efforts in the shortened IHSA basketball season.

In 1A Noah Franklin of Cobden, Garrett Gunter of Sesser-Valier, Kanon Webb of Goreville, and Jacksen Harre of Okawville were recognized as All-Staters.

Chase Quigley of Goreville and Tyler Franklin of Cobden were also recognized as 1A Special Mention members.

In 2A, Kaleb Applebey and Beau Stipp of Mount Carmel, Dre Scott of Pinckneyville, Landon Zurliene of Fairfield, Eli Downen of Carterville, Isaac Turner of Nashville, and Reece Johnson of Benton earned All-State honors.

Noah McElravy of Fairfield, Caden Bee of Salem, and Michael Godsey of Harrisburg earned 2A Special Mention.
