Kentucky officials have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a woman whose body was found along a roadway in Calloway County Friday.
22-year-old Julius Sotomayor was arrested at his home in Dexter, Ky. He is accused of killing 21-year-old Sarah Townsend, who did not show up for work on Friday. Murray State University campus police were asked to conduct a welfare check on Townsend and she was later found deceased by Kentucky State Police.
Townsend’s car was found at Sotomayor’s residence. The accused has been charged with murder, theft and tampering with evidence.
