PINCKNEYVILLE, Ill. (WJPF) — Beginning Tuesday, January 19, all Pinckneyville water customers are under a boil water order until further notice.

It’s due to work being done at the city’s water treatment facility.

The city says the boil order may last for some time due to the nature of the work being done and then subsequent sampling and testing required by the EPA.
