CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Carbondale Police are investigating a Christmas shooting that damaged property, but caused no injuries.

Officers were called to the 500 block of South Beverage Street around 11:20 p.m. after a report of shots fired.

A vehicle in the area was hit by the bullets.

A suspect has not been identified.
