All is right in the Southern Illinois River to River Conference it would seem. After reports came out last week of meetings without some schools taking place in recent months and some schools wanting to push out others from the SIRR, Monday everyone seemed to make nice and agree to get along once again.
On Twitter, the Conference released a statement that said all 11 schools unanimously agreed to continue moving forward together to strengthen the competitive relationship between each other.
The Southern Illinois River to River Conference met this afternoon to discuss it’s future. After lengthy discussion, it was decided unanimously the eleven schools would continue to move forward to strengthen the competitive relationships that have existed for the past 27 years.

The conference is currently looking at potential solutions to an uneven conference with the Ohio Division full with six teams but the Mississippi Division one school short at five since Sparta announced their departure for the Cahokia Conference last summer – which goes in to effect in the 2021-22 school year.
