
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WJPF) — On Saturday, the US House approved legislation intended to reverse recent changes to the U.S. Postal Service operations.
The bill also sends $25 billion in emergency funds to the agency ahead of November’s presidential election.
The bill passed 257 to 150. Representative Mike Bost (R-Murphysboro) voted for the measure. Representative John Shimkus (R-Collinsville) did not vote.
