
CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Carbondale Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect wanted in connection to a report of shots fired Tuesday.
Police say at approximately 2:10 a.m. officers responded to the 700 block of South Lewis Lane after a report of shots fired. Officer learned that disturbance occurred during at a social gathering of acquaintances.
While at the gathering, police say Samuel White, 31, damaged property and hurt two people. A man accompanying White fired a single gunshot in the air.
White and the second suspect then left the area, possibly in a white Dodge Caravan.
