CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — A fight between acquaintances in Carbondale led to a 17-year-old being shot Friday.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 300 block of West Walnut Street.

The male victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
