Marion Police responded to the report of a stabbing early Saturday morning in the 1300 block of Sherman Drive.

Officers located a male subject with stab wounds to the body. The victim was identified as 48-year-old Terrance Olridge of Marion. He was airlifted to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale where he later died.

A suspect, 22-year-old Lemont Brinson, was located by police at a different location and taken into custody. He was being held in the Williamson County Jail on Monday.
