SALINE COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — A Saline County man has been arrested after a shooting a police chase Friday.

19-year-old Alonte Beachem of Carrier Mills was involved in shooting in Jefferson County. Two victims in their 30s were taken to area hospitals.

Police in Saline County spotted Beachem’s car and attempted to pull him over. Before he was taken into custody, Beachem led police on chase

He was eventually arrested and taken to the Saline County Jail .
