The Harrisburg doctor accused of killing his wife and then burning her body will not undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

A motion requesting a competency hearing for Brian Burns was withdrawn by his attorney on Tuesday.

Burns is accused of killing his wife, Carla Burns, in 2016.

Burns has already been convicted of attempting to kill the late Mike Henshaw, who was Saline County’s state’s attorney when Burns was arrested.
