A Jackson County Grand Jury has indicted a Carbondale man on murder charges.

24-year-old Judious Kizeart is charged with murder, armed robbery, robbery and drug charges, according to a news release from the Jackson County State’s Attorney’s office.

Kizeart allegedly shot 35-year-old Brandon Brooks following an argument on Feb. 15 in the 400 block of E. Mill Street.

Court dates for Kizeart have not been scheduled.
