A head on crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle has claimed the life of a Marion man.

The wreck happened just before 3:00 Sunday afternoon on the Cornith Blacktop in Williamson County.

According to a press release from the Williamson County Coroner’s Office, the motorcycle was heading west when it was hit head on by a vehicle traveling in the wrong lane.

The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.
