Authorities say Hancock County State’s Attorney Jason Pohren has died after having a heart attack.

The 39-year-old Pohren died Monday after complaining of feeling ill.

He was a SIU School of Law graduate and was a judicial intern for State Supreme Court Justice Lloyd Karmeier.
