Estimated attendance at this year’s DuQuoin State Fair is up about three and a half percent from last year.

According to a statement from the Illinois Department of Agriculture, just over 109,000 people attended the fair this year.

Roughly 12,000 tickets were sold to shows at the grandstand, bringing in nearly $293,000 in revenue. The fair was able to make back about 85% of the money spent on talent.
