The Women’s Center has announced some drastic measures being taken to deal with a lack of state funding.

The domestic violence and sexual assault crisis center plans to lay off two employees and ask 15 more employees to take furlough days.

The state owes The Women’s Center about $450.000, and officials say the non profit is burning through its reserves.
