One person suffered what police in Carbondale are calling life threatening injuring in a shooting Thursday.

According to a release from the Carbondale Police Department, officers responded to reports of shooting in the 400 block of East Willow Street just before 5:30 PM.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was taken by ambulance to the Carbondale Memorial Hospital for treatment of their gunshot wounds.

No suspects have been named at this time.
