The Perry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of dog thefts.

In a statement released Friday, Perry County Sheriff Steve Bareis said that three dog thefts have been reported in recent weeks.

In the days leading up to all of those thefts, a white truck with a dog box in the back has been seen in the area.

According to Bareis, the truck has a camper shell as well as having “Animal Control” written on the side.
