A Christopher man has been arrested after police say he shot his wife to death.

43-year-old Brian D. Pheasant of Christopher was arrested last night after police were called to his home to find his wife, 37-year-old Beth Pheasant with a gunshot wound. Beth Pheasant was pronounced dead at the scene by Franklin County Coroner Marty Leffler

Illinois State Police say their subsequent investigation led to Brian D. Pheasant’s arrest. He has been booked into the Franklin County Jail.
