A Carbondale man had to be rescued from a bluff at Giant City Park this weekend.

20 year old Zacharia Bolander was stuck about 20 feet up on a bluff near Devil’s Stand Table. The Makanda Township Fire Department was able to rappel down to the bluff and lower Bolander to the ground. He was not injured.
