A State Police officer has been honored for saving the life of an FBI agent during a manhunt in rural Pope County in May.

The Fraternal Order of Police gave its Life Saving Award to Jonathan Edwards of Benton.

During the manhunt for Darcy Pendleton this spring, an FBI agent was shot, and Edwards located the agent and used a tourniquet to stop his bleeding – saving his life.
