A trial date has been set for one of the women accused of financial improprieties at  the Anna Bixby Women’s Center in Harrisburg.

At a court appearance yesterday in Saline County, a jury trial was set for 9 a.m. February 7 for Terri Wingo-Eichorn. Eichorn was assistant director at the center. She and her mother, Barbara Wingo, face felony charges.

Wingo was the executive director.

The Illinois Attorney General’s Office says the women faked documents to get grants related to counseling services that were not offered at the center.

The domestic violence shelter serves women in Gallatin, Hardin, Pope, Saline and White counties.

The charges also allege that Eichorn and Wingo committed loan fraud, and used shelter donations to buy personal items.
