Governor Rauner closed the Hardin County work camp last winter, and it appears he won’t allow the Southern illinois prison to re-open.

Legislators passed a bill Tuesday to approve the re-opening. State Senator Gary Forby says it would save the state money and jobs.

Governor Rauner’s office disagrees and says he won’t sign the bill.
