A Murphysboro man is behind bars after officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute.

According to Murphysboro Police, officers arrived at a residence in the 500 block of N. Tony Drive, where they immediately detained 28-year old Paris Thomas.

Thomas was charged with Domestic Battery, and two counts of Disorderly Conduct.

Thomas posted bond and was released.
