The Paul Simon Public Policy Institute continues to produce polls in the days leading up to the March 15th primary, this time regarding the race for Mark Kirk’s US Senate seat.
On the Republican side, 53% of likely Republican voters said they would cast their ballot to keep Kirk in office. 14% said they would vote for Oswego businessman James Marter. 33% were still undecided.
When it comes to the Democrats in the race, 52% of self-identified Democrat voters say they would vote for Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth, 6% said they would vote for former Chicago Urban League CEO Andrea Zopp, and 4% said they would vote for IL State Senator Napoleon Harris. 37% of Democrats polled say they’re still undecided.
