A Murphysboro man will see prison time for burglary and stalking.
22-year old Garrett Peterman pleaded guilty to a stalking charge last November after a woman reported to authorities that Peterman approached her car, started an argument, and hung onto the moving car as she tried to drive away.
Peterman had waited several hours for the woman to return, and was arrested after breaking into a home on Murphy St.
Peterman will see 10 years in a state prison, 8 for residential burglary, and two for stalking.
Peterman will also have to serve two years of parole after his release.
