A Wisconsin man was taken to a local hospital after crashing his semi on an exit ramp connecting Interstate 24 with Interstate 57.
According to the IL State Police, 41-year old David Bush of Waupaca, Wisconsin was heading west on I-24 and was using the exit ramp which connected with the southbound lanes of I-57.
Bush failed to negotiate the curve properly and flipped his semi onto its side on the shoulder.
Bush was hauling timber, which caused additional damage to his truck, which had to be towed away from the scene.
Bush was taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, and was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to wear a seat belt.
