A Carbondale man will see more than 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated battery of a police officer, being a felon in possession of a weapon, and obstructing identification.
26-year old Chris Harris was sentenced to 21 years in prison after prosecutors say he robbed a Carbondale convenience store at gunpoint last June.
Harris was reportedly wearing a dress and a wig during the robbery, taking just under $100 and two packs of cigarettes.
Harris was arrested after police noticed him driving the wrong way down a one-way street. Harris then abandoned his car, and was found after officers searched for a matter of hours.
